The Boomerang Effect

Have you ever thrown a boomerang?
I haven’t. But I’ve done the same basic thing with a hula hoop. If you stand it up and snap your wrist just right, it comes back to you.
Pretty neat, huh?
What’s even neater is the fact that you can have that same “Boomerang Effect” with the value of your home simply by supporting the businesses that are slowly—but surely—popping up inside New Town.
If you use Drama Clean for your dry cleaning, Marsala’s Market for your grocery needs, and Torta Della’s when you’re hankering pizza, you are supporting the owners of those businesses.
But that’s not all you’re doing. You’re actually helping your own wallet in the long run.
You see, by buying a birthday present for a child’s party at the Toy Box, or some pampering products for yourself at Lotions & Potions, you’re helping to keep those establishments afloat. Which, in turn, keeps the concept behind New Town thriving.
And when New Town thrives, so do the homeowners. Hence, The Boomerang Effect.
When potential home buyers come to New Town to purchase a home—possibly even your home—they want to see a community that is alive and well. They want to see a neighborhood that is safe and fun and flourishing.
Think about it. When it comes to finding a place for our family to live, we’re all willing to pay a little extra if it means living somewhere special.
New Town is the epitome of special. It’s unique. And what makes it unique is the concept of living in a neighborhood of yesteryear…where people shop and work in their community. A place where people ride bikes to the little ice-cream shop down the road. A place where everyone knows each other because they get their coffee at the same little corner shop each morning.
As long as those businesses are thriving, New Town will remain special. It will draw people to its streets…people who want to live where you do now. And they’ll be willing to pay a little extra to call New Town their home.
So the next time you’re craving some barbecue or a long overdue workout, consider the business around the corner. A company that not only provides what you need without the hassle of a lengthy drive, but also has the potential to increase the value of your home simply by staying in business.
Sounds like a win-win to me.
